The PSC Library is open M-W 8am-7:00pm and Th-F 8am-4:30pm. PSC Librarians are available through the "Chat Now" button or via email at librarians@prairiestate.edu.

Did you know that the library has a collection of audio and ebooks through a company called OverDrive? You can use an app called Libby to connect our OverDrive collection to your phone and read or stream books. Take a look at our collection, and then this research guide will provide instructions for how to connect your username and password to the app. If your public library uses Libby, you can also connect both collections to the app. Two libraries = more books! Next time the intrusive thoughts get you down, listen to an audiobook, and unlike Audible, it’s free.
Last semester the library received a Foundation grant to purchase board games. We purchased many, and had a game day for students at the end of last semester. Since, students have been coming in and playing for hours. It’s been a delight to watch. In the coming weeks we will pull out a game every other Monday to play in the library classroom. While this is intended for students, we won’t begrudge you a fun break. Here’s the upcoming schedule with the featured games:
March’s book display is so big it will sprawl out to two locations: by the circulation desk, and the computer lab. Since it’s the time of year to plant seeds and see what blooms, one display will feature books about gardening, and the other, growing food. See a preview of the ebooks below and the full display in the library.
