SUMMER SCARES APP RELEASE NEW ARRIVALS

Summer Scares

When's the best time to creep yourself out? Halloween has been the traditional favorite, but we're starting to think that summer might just be second best.

The Horror Writers Association has started a new program called Summer Scares, and we're participating in this first-ever annual celebration by asking our library employees what we have that scares them. Take a peek at what each person claims is their spookiest read!

Library App Release Party

The new library app is going live on August 29! You can browse our items on this app, just like in the regular catalog. Why might you want this new app, then?

For starters, you can now scan your favorite books' barcodes to see if we have them--and request them from other libraries if we don't. You can check on your library account, download e-books, and keep in touch with us!

If you want even more incentive, we'll be having a party at noon on the 29th and giving out goodie bags to anyone with the app on their phone. You can also snack on goodies and enter a prize raffle. If you miss the party, we'll keep any leftover goodie bags for the rest of the day, and have a special raffle prize just for the latecomers.

All you need to do before the app officially drops is to turn your PSC ID into your library card. Haven't done that yet? Just come in with your ID and we'll get you all set up.
