Due to COVID-19, most PSC Library services are now virtual and available Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm and Friday 8am-4:30pm. Click here to find out more. If you have a question, please email us at librarians@prairiestate.edu or use the "Chat Now" button. The Library and other College offices will be closed on Monday, January 18 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Interlibrary loan is available to PSC faculty, students, and staff with library accounts. For more about library accounts and borrowing, please refer to the Borrowing Materials page.
Books, articles, and other materials not owned by the PSC library can be requested through interlibrary loan (ILL).
If you were sent a digital copy of an item, it's yours to keep.
If you got a physical item, like book or DVD, the lending library will set the rules for how long you can have it. These rules are usually written on a strap that is placed around the item, along with the due date.
Please return the item to PSC on or before the due date. If you need to renew the item, please contact ILL at 708-709-3553 at least 1 week before the due date. Late items, damaged items, or lost items will be subject to the fines and penalties set by the lending library. You will be responsible for these fines and penalties.
Interlibrary loans are subject to Copyright Law of the United States, the Interlibrary Loan Code for the United States, and regulations set by borrowing and lending libraries.
For questions, contact ILL at (708) 709-3553.
