The PSC Library is open M-W from 8am - 8pm and Th-F 8am - 4:30pm. Librarians are available to answer questions virtually through email or the "Chat Now" button at the bottom of the page.

PSC Archives Mission

The mission of the Prairie State College Archives is to collect, organize, preserve and make accessible the archival records of historic value to the College. The archives are not a repository of all official records of the Prairie State College.

PSC Archives staff have worked to digitize past PSC and Bloom Community College yearbooks. Please click here to access them.

Using the Archives

The Prairie State College Archives, located in room 1222, are not currently open for public visit due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please contact the Archivist, Alex Altan, about the possibility of digitizing items in which you are interested.

  • Archival items do not leave the Archives room.
  • No food, drinks, or damp items are allowed inside the Archives room.
  • Visitors will be accompanied by library staff at all times.
  • Copies or photographs of items will be made by library staff.
