Request Materials from Another Library

You must have a Prairie State College Library Account to order a book or article from another library. For more about signing up for a Library Account, please refer to the Borrowing Materials section of the website.

Interlibrary loan service is available to our faculty, students, and staff. Books, articles, and other types of library materials that are not owned by our library can be requested through interlibrary loan. Please check the library catalog and databases to see if we own the book or article before placing a request through Interlibrary Loan.

Most materials take 2-3 business days to arrive but please allow up to 14 days for requested items to arrive. You will be notified by e-mail or phone when your item is ready for pick-up. The library cannot guarantee that all requests can be filled. You will be notified if your item cannot be ordered.

Interlibrary Loan request forms are available at the Circulation Desk and Reference Desk. You may also fill out one of the online forms linked below.
